Wallis & Carson — An Autumn Wedding at The Springs

Wallis & Carson married at The Springs on a golden autumn day — emerald and gold inside, lake views and pampas grass outside.
Carson stood in front of the mirror, adjusting his navy suit for what felt like the hundredth time. His groomsmen were all cracking jokes, but his mind was miles away—on Wallis, the woman who’d soon be walking toward him. The Springs’ rustic elegance was the perfect backdrop for their story. The sprawling venue with its stone walls, wooden beams, and endless greenery felt like a dream come true.
Meanwhile, Wallis stood in the bridal suite, surrounded by her bridesmaids in sage green dresses. Her bouquet of eucalyptus, roses, and wildflowers smelled heavenly. Wallis looked breathtaking in her lace gown, her dark hair swept into soft waves.
The ceremony was heartfelt. Vows filled with promises of adventure and unwavering love made tears fall freely. As they shared their first kiss as husband and wife, the crowd erupted with applause.
The reception was pure celebration. Long farm tables adorned with greenery and candles stretched across The Springs' reception hall, setting a cozy, romantic tone. Toasts from friends and family were filled with laughter and loving memories.
There's one part of this day I think about often. Wallis is her mother's only daughter — and on a wedding morning, mothers of the bride usually end up working: steaming dresses, chasing bouquets, answering questions. My job was to carry all of that, so Wallis's mom didn't have to. She got to be right there for every minute of her only daughter getting ready. Somebody has to guard that time — honestly, it's the part of this work I love most.
