A Clear Vision, Beautifully Fine-Tuned
Some brides come to planning hoping someone will help them find the vision. Jayla arrived with hers fully formed — pink, in every shade she could layer it, joyful and unapologetically romantic. What she didn't have was time. She was wrapping up her master's degree while she planned, and TJ was in medical school in another state, so most of their engagement happened across a distance, in the margins of two very full lives.
That's exactly where Partial Planning earns its place. Jayla was already on the right path to executing her vision beautifully — what she needed was someone to take the logistics off her plate and fine-tune the ideas into a day that would actually run the way it looked in her head. Timelines, vendor coordination, the hundred small decisions between a Pinterest board and a wedding day: that became my job, so her job could just be finishing her degree, loving a fiancé from a few states away, and looking forward to this.
And what a day it was. Her bridesmaids wore tiered gowns in soft pink; the groomsmen answered in light gray with pink bow ties. Before the ceremony, her girls gathered around her and prayed over her. TJ carried a quiet piece of the day pinned at his tie — a small photo charm, there in memory of someone loved and missed. They said their vows in front of the timber pavilion at The Springs, beneath a large wooden cross dressed in flowers, with the lake behind them — and in the middle of their ceremony, the two of them took communion together. Even the details echoed each other: the oversized bow on the back of Jayla's gown, and a tiny matching one on the flower girl's dress.
Then the party moved into the wood-paneled hall — white linens, pink everywhere you looked — for a first dance with a proper dip, a dance floor that did not quit, and a streamer send-off that ended the only way this wedding could: with a kiss in a red convertible.
In Jayla's words: after the wedding, Jayla left a Google review. It says more than I ever could:
"The best to ever do it!"
— Jayla, from her Google review
And the rest of it:
"Sharon is truly the best and I cannot imagine our wedding day and planning process without her! She made our day absolutely seamless and unforgettable! Completely stress free and fun with Sharon on our team! I simply could not recommend her enough!! You truly need a planner — there is so much you don't think or even know about without one."
— Jayla Evans, via Google review
Reading that never gets old — not because of the kind words themselves, but because of what sits underneath them: a bride who finished her degree, planned a wedding across state lines, and still got to call the whole thing fun. That's the goal every single time.
